How to make your website header responsive

How to create a mobile responsive header // erineflynn.com

Ever wonder why your header doesn’t re-size properly on your WordPress website? This can be fixed with some CSS, but can be quite tricky. Instead, if you’re using the Genesis Framework* you can use this simple plugin to create a responsive header for your website! Download the Genesis Responsive Header plugin here, it’s totally free and awesome!

I was really happy to find this plugin, as it will allow my clients to swap out headers easily on their own without having to hire me to go in and make any coding changes. And as you can see in the video, it’s really simple to use! Sure, you might need some design skills if you’re making headers on your own, but at least you don’t have to worry about coding or FTPing anything!

And don’t forget, you can still take my e-course to see lots of other great videos to help you create your own website!

Loved this video! I love and appreciate how flexible the Genesis framework is, and eventually I’ll have time to learn the ins and outs of it – Just not now :P

I’m also excited about the prospects of EEF Creative! It sounds like a fun and exciting project!

The out of the box Genesis header was one of the things I hate as it is not responsive and fills in almost the whole iphone screen! Thanks for the tip – will definitely apply on my client projects
